Open MORE Than 45 Presents!

Happy 2011 to the Mafia Wars Community.  Hopefully, you finished No Crime Like the Present with 45 gifts under your tree and got your Auld Lang Syne.

Either way, here's a tip worth much more than one Grand Prize:

If you have left over Holiday Sacks, then while you're opening your presents, STOP every now and then, open more Holiday Sacks, and you will have more presents to open!

Here was my mix of 45 presents at the stroke of midnight:

After opening about 7 presents, I stopped and opened about 11 Holiday Sacks until I was back at 45 presents.  

Now look at my mix:

Opened up another 10 and refilled back to 45 again:

So hopefully you saved extra Holiday Sacks - use your Mafia Wars Free Gift Envelope AND your Facebook Game Request menu to double up - and you can open WAY more than 45 presents to ring in the New Year!

So far, I've opened 140 presents and received 114 "commons" (the five items below the bar) and 26 "rare" items.  The rare items appear in slightly less than 1 out of every 5 presents.
